  • Before School:  Tuesday - Thursday mornings from 8:10-8:30
  • Advisory:  Monday - Wednesday, Friday from 1:55 - 2:19
You  must get a pass from me prior to advisory. If I am not in my room, I am in a meeting; I will return as promptly as possible. Students should come prepared with questions to ask and/or work to complete during tutoring. 

  • PAWS Tutoring: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons - 4:00-4:45 in the library
This tutoring is with The Woodlands High School Interact students. You must arrange for a ride home after tutoring as there is no bus service.

Late Policy

  • Daily work is not accepted late. Work is considered late if it is not turned in when the teacher asks for it in class.
  • Quizzes and tests must either be taken prior to an absence or on the first date of return from an absence unless (under special circumstances of extended absence) special arrangements are made with the teacher.
  • Major assignments will be accepted late under the following guidelines:  All major projects are due on the Monday of the assigned week. Projects will be accepted without penalty through Friday of the same week. Should a project be turned in after Friday of the week it is due, 10 points will be subtracted for each day late - down to the grade of a zero. This would include a student being absent on the Friday at the end of the week the project was due, whether or not the absence is excused or unexcused.

Students should have a single binder OR a section of a binder with 5 dividers dedicated to Language Arts. The dividers should be labeled: Reading, Writing, Grammar, Handouts, Paper. Students should bring the following supplies with them daily: binder, Vocabulary Workshop book, SURF/Outside Reading book, novel (if applicable), blue/black pen, red pen, highlighter. Having the necessary supplies is essential to maintain the flow of the class period.
