DISCLAIMER:  I usually update my website once or twice a week, and not always on the same day.  The assignments and due dates I have posted are a GUIDELINE, not an absolute.  I will adjust the pace and content of my weekly curriculum as needed to meet the needs of my students.  Students are responsible for copying down the planner information daily in order to have the most updated information.
What the website IS:
Another great source for information about classwork, daily assignments, homework, tests and long-term projects.  It is to be used in conjuction with the planner.

What the website is NOT:
a replacement for 1) paying attention in class 2) listening to oral directions on how assignments are to be completed and 3) copying down assignments into the planner.

Extracurricular activities should NEVER be an excuse for incomplete assignments.  Those assignments are extra, meaning school work is the priority.  If you are absent, it is your responsibility to check the absence binder upon your return.  Not all assignments are posted, and what I say in class overrides everything on the website.

Late Policy

  • Daily work is not accepted late. Work is considered late if it is not turned in when the teacher asks for it in class.
  • Quizzes and tests must either be taken prior to an absence or on the first date of return from an absence unless (under special circumstances of extended absence) special arrangements are made with the teacher.
  • Major assignments will be accepted late under the following guidelines:
  • All major projects are due on the Monday of the assigned week. Projects will be accepted without penalty through Friday of the same week. Should a project be turned in after Friday of the week it is due, 10 points will be subtracted for each day late - down to the grade of a zero. This would include a student being absent on the Friday at the end of the week the project was due, whether or not the absence is excused or unexcused.
