Announcements

The Binder Order for the 2nd 9 Weeks is now under the "Documents" link.  Please make sure you have read the instructions listed.

Please take advantage of the many tutoring opportunities available at McCullough!  See "Tutoring" below.

Parents and students, please keep in mind that it is the responsibility of the student to check the "Absent Tray" upon returning to school after an absence.

Late Policy

  • Daily work is not accepted late. Work is considered late if it is not turned in when the teacher asks for it in class.
  • Quizzes and tests must either be taken prior to an absence or on the first date of return from an absence unless (under special circumstances of extended absence) special arrangements are made with the teacher.
  • Major assignments will be accepted late under the following guidelines:
  • All major projects are due on the Monday of the assigned week. Projects will be accepted without penalty through Friday of the same week. Should a project be turned in after Friday of the week it is due, 10 points will be subtracted for each day late - down to the grade of a zero. This would include a student being absent on the Friday at the end of the week the project was due, whether or not the absence is excused or unexcused.

Important!

1. Your outside reading book must be signed off by me, before you start to read it.

2. Any outside reading book must have a parent note, unless it comes from the McCullough  Junior High Library or the Conroe ISD approved outside reading list. This list is found under the documents link on my website.

Tutoring

I am available for tutoring before school at 8:05 or during advisory.  Please note that I will not be available on Thursday mornings due to duty.  It is important that students let me know if they plan on attending tutoring because I sometimes have meetings before school that prevent me from being in my classroom.

PAWS Tutoring is held each Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 - 4:45 in the downstairs library.

S.P.A.R.K.S. Tutors are now available during Advisory.  See me for a pass!

Notice

If you are absent, it is your own responsibility to to check the absent tray upon returning.  Do not assume that the assignment will be posted on this website. Though I will do my very best to make sure that assignments are updated online, what I say in class will override anything on this website.

Extracurricular activities should never be an excuse for an incomplete assignment. Those activities are EXTRA, meaning schoolwork is priority.

I usually update my website once or twice a week.  Please use this website as a guideline.  Students should be copying down all assignments in their planner.  The planner will have the most up-to-date information.
