Solar Eclipse / Tartan Tribune

Dear Highlander Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. As you know the solar eclipse will occur on Monday, April 8th. Our Conroe ISD science department would like our students and the entire Conroe ISD community to witness this remarkable celestial phenomenon safely. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Click HERE to see a list of curated online resources and safety considerations for viewing the solar eclipse.

We are devising a plan for our students to safely view the eclipse on Monday, April 8th. Our plan includes altering our bell schedule a bit to maximize classroom instruction time. The Conroe ISD science department has gifted us with 500 Solar Eclipse Viewers. Students are also allowed to bring their own solar eclipse viewers. We will send out detailed information by Friday once our schedule is finalized.  If you do not want your student to participate, please complete the google form linked HERE.
