Congratulations to the McCullough Band for earning 10th place in the 2023 TMEA Class CCC State Honor Band Preliminary Competition!  They also earned the distinction of the Area F Honor Band winner.

The McCullough Band earned 5^th place in the 2019 TMEA Class CCC State Honor Band competition.  In 2017, the McCullough Band was selected as the TMEA Class CCC State Honor Band Second Runner Up.

McCullough Junior High is a 7th and 8th grade campus in the Conroe Independent School District. With a school enrollment of approximately 2200 students, our band program is one of the largest organizations on campus with 300+ students.

The McC Band is the exclusive feeder to The Woodlands High School Band. Our students begin band in 5th grade at one of four intermediate schools in Conroe ISD: Deretchin Elementary, Coulson Tough Elementary, Mitchell Intermediate, or Wilkerson Intermediate.

There are seven performing ensembles within the McC Band. In 2022-2023, five of our performing ensembles earned UIL Sweepstakes at Concert and Sightreading Contest.
