P.A.W.S. is an after-school study hall where students can have time specifically set aside to complete their homework. On most afternoons, students from Interact at The Woodlands High School and McCullough math teachers are available to assist.
P.A.W.S. is after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:05 – 4:50
P.A.W.S. will take place in the downstairs library.
No. Anyone can attend. Just arrive ready to work! This is not a time to socialize with your friends.
The high school students who help during P.A.W.S. are familiar with the types of assignments you have. They can help you with the questions you have on your homework or study guides in preparation for a test. Please note that there are days when volunteers are unavailable to assist. However, the time can still be used for doing homework and studying.
Come prepared with homework and any supplies you might need. A small amount of textbooks may be available. You must visit your locker before signing in. You may not leave P.A.W.S. to return to your locker. Be sure you have enough to work on until 4:45. Students will not be dismissed early from P.A.W.S. All students stay in the classroom the entire time.
A parent or guardian will have to pick you up at 4:45 p.m. at the front of the building when P.A.W.S. is over. There is no late bus. All students from P.A.W.S will leave together from the classroom and go to the covered horseshoe at the front of the building to wait for their ride.
