About McCullough Junior High

History & Namesake

McCullough Junior High opened in 1976 as McCullough High School, serving all of south Montgomery County until Oak Ridge High School opened in 1981. When The Woodlands High School opened in 1996, McCullough was converted to its present junior high campus.

The school is named for former Conroe ISD superintendent J.L. "Mac" McCullough, who worked in the district for 50 years as a teacher, football coach, principal, and administrator.

Our Mission

McCullough Junior High School is a school for the community, promoting a safe and nurturing learning environment while developing the whole child and encouraging excellence in all we do.

Verification of Enrollment (VOE) Information & Requests

Requests should be directed tot the Registrar. Any VOE issued during the school year (traditional, year round, etc.) expires 30 days after issuance. Any VOE issued the last 5 days of the school year will expire the first day of the following school year.

Please note: The school will provide the VOE form. VOEs cannot be emailed or faxed.
